Shall I elaborate?
You know it's a horrible feeling you get when you hear a person that you'd normally consider to be nice and polite, speak about someone you consider to be a friend in the most offensive manner. And it doesn't even matter if the person they're talking about is a good friend or an acquaintance. It just sucks either way.
Don't you just hate that feeling? I mean, I feel like my judgement has now been blown out of the water. I originally didn't mind the person bitching about my friend, but when they did, I just was disgusted instantly.
So then I wonder, "why do people do this to one another?", surely, they wouldn't like it if I talked about their friend, and somewhere along the track I truthfully have, but now I try my best to keep myself from saying stupid things in front of people who would obviously be affected. I can't help but feel disgusted.
I don't really know what's with guys and comparing their own masculinity, but it doesn't help when you say things behind another person's back. Most of us would agree on that it is a cowardly, and un-honest act. That's hardly what I would consider "manly". So what if he has less muscle than you? I'm sure that all the muscle you received was from wanking. Ha ha.
I really do appreciate the different opinions of others, and I'm usually open-minded towards them. It's just that I believe that there's a time and a place for you to state your opinions, and if there isn't, then it's probably just the universe telling you to keep it to yourself.
I can't help but be loyal to my friends. Who can? We, as a human race, rely on society and it's benefits heavily. So it's basically just instinct for us to feel protective over the ones we care about just a little bit.
Friends aren't just there to be used by you. They're there to keep you company out of their own volition. They're people you trust, and people you enjoy seeing, and talking to, and just basically, you probably would hang around them out of your own free will as well. You might feel like you're being used for something, but it's that feeling you get when you know that somebody, somewhere in this big, wide, open world, actually needs you.
So, I thought, and despite being accepting, I am truthfully, quite a selfish person. And normally, I just do things for self satisfaction, and I think I should tell you now, my rule on how to deal with someone who just insults, and insults.
"If you offend me, I will hit you once. If you insult a friend, I will hit you twice. You have offended two people."Sometimes, I just feel like hitting them thrice, but that's just to teach them a lesson, or to gain self satisfaction, or something... I really don't know....
But anyways, I don't really mean hit them, but metaphorically speaking, I will send them my anger somehow, and they won't be able to avoid it... hopefully... :\
And in the case where a friend insults another friend, I'd want to hit them four times at the most. That is, you can't really do half a hit, can you?
*sigh* I really do hope that that guy becomes less of an arse though. I don't like becoming violent, but I guess I can't help it. So, what do you think of your friends? Answer by commenting below. I'm really interested...
I hope you have great friendships,
Wuv,
SSV.
