Ya-huh, you can pretty much guess my mood D:<

First of all, I have been pissed off all day due to this one stupid science test on the theory of evolution.

What happened was that our teacher made us correct each other's work during class, and there was this big uproar about this one question...

I don't really know if it EXACTLY said this, but it was something like this piece of crappy crappy crap crap:

"Which activity that would best help survive humans survive in their environment today involving thumbs?
A: Recording scientific observations
B: (some answer that was definitely wrong, and sorry, I can't remember that one)
C: Teaching languages and communication
D: Tying shoelaces"

I don't know about you, but apparently C was not correct. Why? Because apparently you don't really need your thumbs to communicate... err, WRONG, stupid science teacher! Hand gestures, sign language, the WRITTEN WORD. ALL OF THOSE NEED THUMBS! Sometimes, talking does NOT always help you to survive. Do you think, (hypothetically) that you would remember what was said one day ago -what homework you had, what classes you have, which test or exam you have on Friday? I wouldn't. NOT WITHOUT WRITING IT DOWN ON MY STUPID DIARY!

Further more, in Roman times, people used thumbs to determine the future of gladiators:
THUMBS UP = LIVE
THUMBS DOWN = DIE
...sounds like survival to me >_>

Not only the Romans in their time, but those who are deaf/ mute use sign language to survive! If my science teacher says that communication does NOT help humans survive in their environment, is she implying that those who can't use verbal communication are NOT human? O_O Honestly, I know she probably doesn't mean that, but it doesn't hurt to think outside the norm for once!

In order to understand where things are;  to become aware of their own environment through others is through COMMUNICATION! Without communication, I'd be dead by now. Without writing things down, I would not be able to remember things properly. Recognition and memory are keys to our survival as a race! -It's common sense to remember things! It wasn't just the fastest or the strongest animals that survived through natural selection, it was also those who were smart and thought creatively who lived on to produce offspring!

So dear science teacher, think about that next time you mark my answer wrong.

Oh yeah, thanks mum, for calling her a "stupid cow", that made my day :). (Yeah... she copied the test from the internet and didn't edit it in order to make sense)
