*sigh* It's a depressing point, this.
All those poor, depraved children...
What first started out as effective advertisements, became lamer and lamer by the day.
I'm not sure about those in other countries, but they seem to keep on giving us crappy tunes and stanzas written by Rebecca Black's lyricist. In all honesty, toy companies are pulling out trash and selling them to the younger generations, and luring them with the worst techniques ever.
I mean, c'mon every single Barbie, or Hotwheels ad is not complete without some announcer being auto-tuned nowadays. It's starting to become a little ridiculous.
Back when I was a kid, an advertisement with a song was fresh, catchy, but now that someone had this bright idea to ruin it all, it's boring. I'm not wrong in stating this. EVERY single TV commercial has a song that exploits the product. It's not original any more. It's not fresh. It isn't in the least bit catchy.
All these ads are making me believe that companies are running out of ideas very quickly. Their products even. I mean, what kind of crap is this? We don't want your collectables, or your slutty, dress-cut-short doll. We don't want crappy messages being sent to kids in the future.
Bad music in your campaigns is a bad idea. A VERY bad idea. Do you realise how many repercussions that will create? For all you know, kids all over the world would like to listen to tasteless music, watch Twilight, and worst of all defect from all types of written literature.
Are you trying to kill the endangered breed of good music? Our propaganda is slowly turning monotonous, with the over exploitation of Justin Bieber and Rebecca Black. All our songs are made to just grab attention, instead of showing off real, hard-won talent. The industry is slowly becoming shallow, I'm afraid, and no one will do a thing to stop it.
The children are slowly becoming shallow. I fear for their lives, when the advertisements that flash on the idiot box show Barbie stating how important it is to be a fairy princess, or how the toy cars tell the boys to be a pimp and to waste their money on a Lamborghini when they grow up.
My advice is, to all of those companies is to sell something that is worthwhile, and can be treasured by young children throughout their lives. Don't focus on the meaningless collectibles. They're ugly, and we don't like them. The stuff inspired from movies is also unoriginal and boring. Masks? Who's going to buy that? An idiot, maybe. Maybe a "make your own stuff" kit would be nice. I mean, who wouldn't like one of them?
Also, companies, please don't use any more songs in your commercials. Please, for the love of god and tasteful music, stop. The children are brainwashed already.
Oh well, not that you guys would really care. I'm just a teen who's watching all of this happen, and you guys care about money.
